After more than ten years of life under authoritarian politic regime, we felt the obligation, as theatrical critics of reality, creating our comment, to point the end of the period that brought us so many sorrows. We decided that our comment takes a form of contemporary musical, a form of celebration, because the end has finally come.

“Authority is social category. Authority is psychological category. Authority is cultural category. Authority is spiritual category. Something untouchable for human being. Authority affects decisively resolving of difficulties, but at the same time authority produces them. Man cannot live without authority, but he is provoked by the call of superman who says: ''You are God''. If someone accepts such a call, man opposes him with the most perfect invention of democratic principles, which is law. Law can control someone's power, but law cannot forbid the will for power. That is how authority is born. The will for power is important for the development of human being. But who makes decisions about who will have that will and about the way how that one will use his authority. Who makes decisions about that? Nevertheless, everything would be much clearer if man knew something more about death, human evil and lack of love in this world.
Blue Theatre has come up to another performance following the principles of feeling of responsibility. After more than ten years of life under authoritarian politic regime, we felt the obligation, as theatrical critics of reality, creating our comment, to point the end of the period that brought us so many sorrows. We decided that our comment takes a form of contemporary musical, a form of celebration, because the end has finally come.” |
