Theoretical and practical education in the field of acting and directing in contemporary theatre
The workshop of Plavo pozorište "Contemporary Theatre – Mind and Technique" presents introducing of participants to basic principles of work in contemporary theatre in theoretical and practical sense.
The aim of Plavo pozorište in this project is to share work experiences in the field of mind and technique, through researching process and creative work. Theoretical part of seminar treats method of work on a certain question, which is always different, and depends on a theme. In practical sense, beside many exercises of workshop type, important elements of technical perfecting are physical training and creation of acting materials.
The workshop "Contemporary Theatre – Mind and Technique" can have duration of three days, seven days or two weeks. A two-week workshop is ended in a presentation of work open for public.
International summer workshop which lasts for two weeks and ends in public presentation of work, takes place every year in Belgrade. During two week long work our aim is to show to participants our vision of theatre as a place of self-researching, place of communication, space of open mind where some important things about the world that surrounds us could be said. There comes our need to make contemporary theatre a place of meeting of different cultures.
2004 – INTERNATIONAL SUMMER WORKSHOP
International summer workshop "Contemporary Theatre – Mind and Technique" was realized in Dom omladine in Belgrade with the support of Culture Department of Belgrade City Council and Pro Helvetia. Workshop gathered youth from abroad (Italy, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia) and towns of south Serbia (Nis, Leskovac, Vranje, Bujanovac, Baljevac).
2005 - INTERNATIONAL SUMMER WORKSHOP
International summer workshop "Contemporary Theatre – Mind and Technique" was realized during June and July of 2005 in Cultural Centre Rex in Belgrade. Participants of the workshop were young people from Austria, Luxemburg, Romania and Serbia and Montenegro, from Belgrade and Novi Sad. |
